Wet Scrubbers – Vertical & Horizontal

Wet scrubbers are air pollution control devices that use liquid (typically water or chemical solution) to capture and remove contaminants from exhaust gas streams. They are highly effective for soluble gases, fumes, and particulate matter. Our wet scrubbers are engineered with high-efficiency packing media, mist eliminators, and recirculation systems for optimal performance. The contaminated gas enters the scrubber, passes through a wetted packing bed where pollutants are absorbed or captured, and clean gas exits through a mist eliminator to remove entrained droplets.

Types

Vertical Wet Scrubber
Counter-current flow design where gas rises upward while liquid flows downward.Maximum gas-liquid contact time.
Best For
Laboratories, small to medium industries, height-limited spaces
Horizontal Wet Scrubber
Cross-flow or co-current design with low profile. Easy access for maintenance.
Best For
Height-restricted areas, large industrial applications

Dry Scrubbers – Media-Based Filtration

Dry scrubbers remove acidic or corrosive gases using a dry reaction media (activated carbon, soda lime, or impregnated alumina). Unlike wet scrubbers, they produce no liquid waste, making them ideal for applications where wastewater treatment is challenging or undesirable. The contaminated gas passes through a packed bed of media where chemical adsorption, absorption, or neutralization occurs. Dry scrubbers are particularly effective for low to moderate gas volumes and for pollutants that are difficult to scrub with liquids.

Dust Collectors – Cyclone & Bag Filter Type

Our high-efficiency dust collection systems are designed for effective control of airborne dust
and particulate matter in industrial and laboratory environments. We offer both cyclone
separators for coarse dust and bag filter systems for fine particulate matter. Dual-stage systems
(cyclone + bag filter) are also available for maximum efficiency where high dust loads are
present.

Materials of Construction

PP+FRP
For chemical dust applications
MS+FRP
For general industrial use
 Stainless Steel (SS 304)
For hygienic or corrosive applications

Type A

Cyclone Dust Collector
Uses centrifugal force to separate larger dust particles from the air stream. Dust-laden air enters tangentially, creating a vortex that throws heavier particles against the wall where they fall into a collection hopper. Clean air exits from the top. No filter media required – ideal for preliminary filtration or for coarse dust applications.

Key Features

  • No filter media – no replacement costs
  • Low maintenance – no moving parts
  • Handles high dust loads without clogging
  • Suitable for high-temperature applications up to 400°C
  • Collection efficiency: 70-90% for particles >10 microns
  • Available in mild steel, stainless steel, or abrasion-resistant lining

Applications

  • Woodworking and furniture manufacturing – sawdust and wood chips
  • Metal grinding and polishing – metal shavings and dust
  • Cement and construction materials – cement dust, sand, gravel
  • Grain processing – grain dust and husks
  • Recycling industry – paper, plastic, and metal fines

Type B

Bag Filter Dust Collector
Uses fabric filter bags to capture fine particulate matter with high efficiency. Dust-laden air passes through filter bags where dust accumulates on the outer surface. A pulse-jet cleaning system uses compressed air to periodically blow dust off the bags into the collection hopper. Efficiency up to 99.9% for sub-micron particles.

Key Features

  • Pulse-jet reverse air cleaning – automatic and continuous
  • Easy bag replacement from clean side – no dust exposure
  • Hopper with rotary airlock or discharge valve
